(2) HOW TO PAY ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES:

(a) PLEASE FIRST CHECK HOW MUCH THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY - There are two types of dues: IEEE base membership dues and IEEE Society membership dues. Although the latter is not compulsory one won't gain much from the IEEE without it. Please click here for current fees before proceeding.

e.g. Base fee for eMembership is US$63 for 2011.

(b) WHERE TO PAY THE MEMBERSHIP DUES? Pay your dues into ONE of the bank accounts below held with Ecobank Ghana Ltd to free you from overseas funds transfer charges, etc. You can pay your dues in USD or Ghana cedis equivalent using the EXCHANGE RATE FOR 2011: USD1 = GHS1.7

  • payment details (i.e. amount & currency paid, date payment made)
  • purpose & type of payment (e.g. standard membership plus computer society membership)
  • membership details (IEEE membership ID & full name)


and we will forward your application and/or payment to the IEEE HQ in New Jersey USA for processing as soon as the bank verifies to us your payment. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ANY ATTACHMENT TO US as we shall verify the payment from the bank.
